I've been listening to Matt Maher's new CD this past week and thoroughly enjoying his inspirational music! Here's the title track from the CD... You can visit his website to hear more from this artist who is currently on tour with Michael W. Smith!
Communion of Saints
As we prepare to celebrate another Halloween, I dread how all the imagery around me seems to focus on evil spirits and monsters.
Instead, I am in awe of the holy men and women who have gone before us and lived their lives following Christ, so that we now call them saints. November 1st is All Saints Day where we honour the saints, known and unknown. It is called the Solemnity of All Saints or All Hallows, thereby making Oct. 31 "All Hallowed Eve" (or Halloween). It is a time of great celebration, a time to rejoice and be inspired by those who have fought the good fight! It is followed by All Souls Day, on Nov. 2, where we recall friends and family who have passed away and pray for them.

Good Friday
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
